What does Channel Editor do?
„Channel Edit for LG TVs” is a Mac program (Mac OS 10.11 - El Capitan and higher) you can use to edit station lists of LG TV sets. These lists have to be transferred from the TV to a USB stick first and and the other way round after editing. The software has an English and a German user interface.

Download
The software can be downloaded
here for free.

How to do that?
The procedures are described very well for the Windows program ChanSort, look here:

Just the part about LG TVs is relevant!
Other brands like Samsung, etc. aren‘t supported by „Channel Edit for LG TVs“ yet.

Compatibility
Since there is no official documentation for the LG and its station list format, compatibility can only be found out by try and error.
Most devices from year 2014 and later should be working, when they can export „GlobalClone00001.TLL“ files in a textual (XML) format.
E.g. these model series typically work: LB, UB, UF, UH. New in Version 1.4: support of "legacybroadcast" format.
